SeaPower System Overview
SeaPower brings the proven low-speed power capability of RoadPower to marine engines. It uses the same larger, heavy-duty generator design to produce substantial AC power at lower engine speeds, reducing or eliminating the need for a separate marine genset.
Unlike an automotive installation, a marine propulsion system does not have a vehicle transmission shifting through gears or exposing the generator drive to passing-gear engine speeds. This allows the SeaPower system to be engineered around the vessel’s engine operating range without the same drive-ratio compromises found in road vehicles.
SeaPower uses the vessel’s existing engine to provide dependable AC power for onboard air conditioning, appliances, tools, electronics and other electrical loads.

SeaPower™ systems are built to integrate directly into the mechanical space of the vessels they serve. The compact generator profile and purpose-designed mounting hardware allow for clean, stable installation without requiring structural modifications to the hull or engine compartment. Both single and dual-generator configurations are supported across the full product range.
MEPS works with authorized marine installers and government procurement channels to ensure every SeaPower™ system is correctly specified for the vessel, properly installed, and operating to full output from the first time the engine turns over. Retrofit installations on existing vessels are also fully supported.
